Writing Samples: "Eternal Hades" Page 1/5

The blackest black you've ever seen
does not compare to this,

for now we'll go through Hell, itself,
a most morose abyss.

Light has never ever shown
within these dark confines.

There are no ups or downs in here,
nor straight nor curvy lines.

In which direction we are going
none of us can tell,

All that we know is we are trapped
in black eternal hell.

We twist and tumble here and there,
and know not where we are.

Is this the center or the edge?
And if it's near "How far?"

A body hits you at full speed
and curses as they bounce.

They've left in you a wicked gash
and didn't care an ounce.

In Hades there is no concern,
no thought for one another.

You hit and push and gouge and fight,
a nightmare like no other.

Your body never stops to rest.
It's constantly in motion.

There is not peace nor calm in here,
but continuous commotion.
